Book Review 6: The Retribution of Mara Dyer

Book Review : The Retribution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin

The Retribution of Mara Dyer is the third and final book in the "Mara Dyer" Trilogy.
The covers of all three books are just so attractive that you could not miss it if you are in a bookstore shopping for books. To get the best experience reading the trilogy, going into it without knowing anything about the plot  of the book is the best. So, I will not be telling you much about the story, I will tell you more about the writing style of the book.

Michelle Hodkin is truly an amazing writer who could really capture the emotions of each and every one of the characters in the book, it makes you feel like you are there with the characters and in their shoes. All the twist in the books are just mind-blowing, you will never know what will happen next, it is really unpredictable.

The romance in the book is one of the best parts too. With everything happening, there will be parts with cute romantic moments between Mara and Noah which gives you a slight happiness as the book is quite dark.

Overall, I really enjoy the trilogy and would recommend to you guys. I rated this book 5/5 stars on goodreads.

I would be looking forward to Michelle Hodkin's future books and hope that the Mara Dyer Trilogy will be adapted into a movie.

Movie Review 1: The Maze Runner

The Maze Runner Movie Review
Hello everyone!!! The Maze Runner is a book-to-movie adaptation movie if you don't know, and I really enjoyed reading the books by James Dashner.
There are quite some changes in the movie. Like how the telepathy between Thomas and Teresa is not shown on screens, I am quite disappointed with that. However, that's is the only change that I didn't really like, the rest of the changes actually goes quite well with the movie and I really love them.
I would recommend the movie to everyone!! It is really entertaining and fun to watch.
I rate it 4/5 stars!!! ;)
If you have watched the movie and haven't read the books, GO READ THEM!!! THE BOOKS ARE SO FREAKING GOOD!!!
Hope you guys like this review. Follow me if you like the contents, I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

Book Review 5: The Merciless

BOOK REVIEW 5: The Merciless

I have finished The Merciless by Danielle Vega and it's really really good.
Here's the summary of the book:
Brooklyn Stevens sits in a pool of her own blood, tied up and gagged. No one outside of these dank basement walls knows she’s here. No one can hear her scream.

Sofia Flores knows she shouldn’t have gotten involved. When she befriended Riley, Grace, and Alexis on her first day at school, she admired them, with their perfect hair and their good-girl ways. They said they wanted to save Brooklyn. They wanted to help her. Sofia didn’t realize they believed Brooklyn was possessed.

Now, Riley and the girls are performing an exorcism on Brooklyn—but their idea of an exorcism is closer to torture than salvation. All Sofia wants is to get out of this house. But there is no way out. Sofia can’t go against the other girls . . . unless she wants to be next. . . .

This books picks up really quickly, the beginning of the book is already a little creepy when Sofia went to school. It only escalates from there. However, the really creepy part starts after Sofia went to the party and something happens.
I have heard many people say that this book is like Pretty Little Liars and I see why.  This book is a YA Horror with plenty of gore. I really like this book as it is intense, amazing plot, fast paced, creepy and gory. I will rate this book about 4.5-5/5 stars as i really love it.
Hope you guys will pick this book up.
PS. I have heard that this book is going to be adapted into a movie and the creator of Pretty Little Liars is going to be involved so it's definitely going to be great!!
