Book Review #11 Two Graves

Book Review #11: Two Graves By Zoe Kalo

Two Graves is a Thriller and a Novella written by Zoe Kalo. It is definitely a great short read if you are looking for one.

The book is about Angelica, her dark and emotional journey to repair her broken heart and revenge is really well captured by Zoe Kalo. In a short 70 pages, Kalos" managed to tell a great psychological thriller that a full novel might not be able to give you.

The amazing use of Dante's Inferno really brings the Novella to a whole other level. The musical elements used in the book is also really captivating.

Overall although the book gets confusing in some parts, but the ending definitely pays off and it is definitely a solid psychological thriller.

Book Review #10: The Girl On the Train

Book Review #10: The Girl On The Train by Paula Hawkins

With The Girl On the Train coming out in theatres in October, I feel the need to write a review on this book that I extremely adored.

There is not much that I can really talk about to spoil the experience of reading the book. So, the book is basically about this girl (Rachel Watson) who took the train everyday to work, and always seeing the same people on the bus and on the streets.

One day, she witness something strange that had happened and realised that this girl that she saw everyday had gone missing.

That's basically all that I could talk about without spoiling the book, but it is definitely a great book and people who love mystery/thriller is definitely going to like this book as much as I do.
I rate this book a 4/5

Hope you guys find this review helpful

Book Review 9: Fire & Flood By Victoria Scott

Book Review 9: Fire & Flood By Victoria Scott

First things first, lets talk about the awesome cover... It's genius. It's so simple, it's beautiful.

So, basically Fire & Flood is about this girl named Tella Holloway entering this, The Hunger Games/ The Amazing Race typed competition to win a cure for her sick brother, Cody.

One of my favourite parts of this is book is the contestant's pandora. All the contestants are required to get a pandora/egg at the beginning of the race and eventually the egg will hatch and help the contestants throughout the race which I think is pretty awesome.

I would definitely recommend this book to people to love The Hunger Games, it's not the same but it has The Hunger Games vibe in it... The story is quite original in my opinion.

I rate this book 5/5 stars on goodreads because it is really that good.

Hope you guys like this review... Please follow me if you want more reviews, and also leave a comment of the books you would like me to read and review. Thank You

Book Review 8: Pretty Little Liars #1

Book Review 8: Pretty Little Liars Book 1

Today I will be reviewing Pretty Little Liars book, as I have watched the TV series too, I could make a comparison between the book and the TV series

First of all, the book starts off in an interesting manner which is the same as the TV series, which shows Alison DiLaurentis disappear. This is totally not a spoiler.... Then, after a year the girls started to get messages about their secrets from an Anonymous person who named him/herself as A. Basically this is the summary of the book.

I really enjoyed reading this book and also the TV series. To compare, the book 1 is actually the pilot of the TV series, only that the book is more detailed.

In conclusion, I think it's a pretty good read, quite fast paced and I would recommend to anyone who loves mystery. I think that people of any age or gender could really enjoy this book

I rate this book a 4/5 stars.

Thank you for reading this review

Book Review 6: The Retribution of Mara Dyer

Book Review : The Retribution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin

The Retribution of Mara Dyer is the third and final book in the "Mara Dyer" Trilogy.
The covers of all three books are just so attractive that you could not miss it if you are in a bookstore shopping for books. To get the best experience reading the trilogy, going into it without knowing anything about the plot  of the book is the best. So, I will not be telling you much about the story, I will tell you more about the writing style of the book.

Michelle Hodkin is truly an amazing writer who could really capture the emotions of each and every one of the characters in the book, it makes you feel like you are there with the characters and in their shoes. All the twist in the books are just mind-blowing, you will never know what will happen next, it is really unpredictable.

The romance in the book is one of the best parts too. With everything happening, there will be parts with cute romantic moments between Mara and Noah which gives you a slight happiness as the book is quite dark.

Overall, I really enjoy the trilogy and would recommend to you guys. I rated this book 5/5 stars on goodreads.

I would be looking forward to Michelle Hodkin's future books and hope that the Mara Dyer Trilogy will be adapted into a movie.
